Orlando Bloom was trending for all the wrong reasons on Sunday after a newspaper interview with the British actor became the source of mockery on social media.

In an interview published in U.K. newspaper The Sunday Times, Bloom revealed a typical day in his life, outlining his diet, his healthy lifestyle, life with partner Katy Perry and their daughter Daisy, how he was back into Lego again, as well as alluding to his film and TV production work.

Bloom says that after spending some time with Daisy, he begins his day with 20 minutes of Buddhist chanting, before reading a “bit of Buddhism” and typing it up and adding it to his Instagram Stories. The actor says he tries to avoid looking at his phone as he doesn’t “want to be sucked into the black hole of social media.”

The Carnival Row star then outlined his unique breakfast regimen. “I like to earn my breakfast so I’ll just have some green powders that I mix with brain octane oil, a collagen powder for my hair and nails, and some protein. It’s all quite L.A. really. Then I’ll go for a hike while I listen to some Nirvana or Stone Temple Pilots.”

He continued, “By 9 a.m., it’s breakfast, which is usually porridge, a little hazelnut milk, cinnamon, vanilla paste, hazelnuts, goji berries, a vegan protein powder and a cup of PG Tips [tea]. I’m 90 percent plant-based, so I’ll only eat a really good piece of red meat maybe once a month. I sometimes look at a cow and think, that’s the most beautiful thing ever.”

Twitter users quick to jump on Bloom’s rather singular diet, with many users wondering whether the actor was trolling and others playfully mocked his healthy lifestyle.

Later in the interview, Bloom talks about his day at work at his production company and how, under his exclusive deal with Amazon Studios, he spends “a lot of time dreaming about roles for myself and others— for minorities and women.” “I’m trying to be a voice for everybody,” he adds.

Bloom signed a first-look film and TV deal with Amazon in December 2019. Under the pact, the actor-producer will create and develop new TV and film projects for the streaming giant.
