New York’s annual Stand Up for Heroes comedy benefit for wounded veterans and their families is going virtual amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

This year’s lineup for the 14th annual event, set for Nov. 18, slightly later than recent years, features regulars Jon Stewart, Bruce Springsteen and past performers Ronny Chieng, Sheryl Crow and Ray Romano.

In addition, this year’s event will include performances by Tiffany Haddish, Brad Paisley, Iliza Shlesinger, Mickey Guyton and Nate Bargatze, with appearances from Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, and Jeannie Gaffigan, whose husband, Jim Gaffigan, has performed at Stand Up for Heroes on multiple occasions.

Other previous performers have included John Oliver, Jerry Seinfeld, Conan O’Brien, Trevor Noah, Hasan Minhaj, Stephen Colbert, Ricky Gervais, John Mulaney and Robin Williams.

The virtual showcase comes after co-presenter, the New York Comedy Festival, announced it was delaying its 2020 edition amid the pandemic, which has forced comedy clubs and other live-entertainment venues to shut down.

Stand Up for Heroes, co-presented by the Bob Woodruff Foundation, has raised more than $50 million since it began in 2007 to help injured service members and their families. Bob and Lee Woodruff partnered with NYCF founders Caroline Hirsch and Andrew Fox to launch the evening of music and comedy to recognize and honor the resilience and recovery of wounded veterans and their loved ones.

“For the last 14 years, the Stand Up for Heroes event has continued to inspire our nation and serves as a reminder of all of the brave individuals that have defended our country selflessly in our military,” Woodruff, ABC News correspondent and co-founder of the Bob Woodruff Foundation, said. “This year, it is especially important that we unite to show support for their sacrifices as we come together virtually to stand up for our heroes.”

Said NYCF and Carolines on Broadway founder Hirsch, “We’re extremely honored and proud to continue our partnership with the Bob Woodruff Foundation to present Stand Up for Heroes. We owe so much to our brave military veterans and their families for the service and sacrifice to our country; it’s very humbling to have the opportunity to honor them over the last 14 years through this great event.”

The event, produced by Chantel Sausedo and Jesse Collins Entertainment, can be streamed on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT on ABC News Live, TikTok, Facebook Watch, Cheddar, Twitch and the Armed Forces Network.
